The Sunshine Coast Council area includes the suburbs, townships and rural localities of:

Bald Knob, Beerburrum, Beerwah, Belli Park, Bells Creek,  Black Mountain, Bli Bli, Boreen Point, Bribie Island North, Buderim, Caloundra,  Cambroon,  Coes Creek,  Conondale, Coochin Creek, Coolabine, Cooloolabin, Coolum Beach, Cooran, Cooroibah, Cooroy, Cooroy Mountain, Cootharaba, Crohamhurst, Diamond Valley, Dulong, Eerwah Vale,  Eudlo, Eumundi, Federal, Flaxton, Glass House Mountains,  Hunchy, Ilkley, Image Flat, Kenilworth, Kiamba, Kidaman Creek, Kiels Mountain, Kin Kin,  Lake Macdonald, Landers Shoot, Landsborough, Little Mountain, Maleny, Mapleton, Maroochy River, Maroochydore, Montville, Mooloolah Valley, Mount Coolum, Mount Mellum,  Nambour,  Noosa Heads, North Arm,  Obi Obi,  Palmwoods, Peachester, Pomona, Razorback (now Montville), Rosemount,  Teutoberg (now Witta), Tewantin, Tinbeerwah, Towen Mountain, Woombye,  Wootha,  Yandina,
